Well, where do I start?
My name is Terri, I opened up Pole4Fitness in September 2007. I know this sounds quite new, but I began teaching pole moves 3 years ago for a well known pole dancing company Unfortunately, that school moved out of Adelaide
I enjoy both teaching and practicing pole moves so made a decision to start up where the last finished providing an alternative look at pole dancing aimed at fitness
Pole Dancing is a great form of fitness, building core strength, strong arms, legs and helping improve flexibility all in a very short time
Why is POLE4FITNESS different?
We will be concentrating on the fitness side of utilising a pole and show you how to incorporate it into the movements taught
For this purpose we use a stationary pole as it is easier to mount and dismount movements The classes span over 5 weeks and involves learning 4 new moves on the pole each time
It’s about feeling good and doing something different, which just happens to be a lot of fun by yourself or in a group
Having taught pole and all other types of fitness, I consider myself to have great communication skills for you to be able to get the most out of your time, this applies to my fellow instructors too
My goal has been to create an environment that is comfortable and safe for all participants so I look forward to meeting and laughing with all of you
